'''EX''' is a secret game-mode of ''Void Stranger'', which can be accessed via a special [[brand]]. EX mode has the player complete a variety of challenging puzzle rooms, allowing them to experience one of several unique ending sequences in the process. 

== Brand of EX ==

The brand of EX gained functionality in update 1.1.0, and was meant to be discovered through a collaborative effort between multiple players. After a player has achieved the [[Post/Developer Room#Ending|developer room ending]], they could encounter a malfunctioning {{Enemy|Mimic}} somewhere within [[Void]]. While interacting with the mimic normally would only display some text commenting on its unusual nature, attempting to interact with it after pushing it allowed the player to see a close-up of the mimic's sprite, featuring a single pixel of the EX brand on its face. Only one malfunctioning mimic could be encountered per save file, appearing randomly in one of 17 different [[Void#Numbered Branes|numbered branes]], with each brane's mimic always having the same pixel of the brand. The complete brand of EX was constructed soon after most of the mimics had been discovered.
